• This club is not seasonal!  It doesn’t close when the snow falls, or the sun goes down. If a member is present, it is open! And the activities continue year-round! 
  

Our dock, electrical systems, and plumbing have been rebuilt since Super-storm Sandy. We have a floating dock system that makes boarding easy.  30amps and water is available to every slip. Winter boat storage is on-premises or in-water and unlike most marinas, you can work on your own boat.  Trailer storage, locker and kayak rental racks are available. A new 5,000lb. boat hoist for smaller boats and any dock repairs is here if you need it. And, most importantly, we have boating enthusiasts that are right here when you need a helping hand, advise or marine knowledge. We are also lucky to have a member that runs a “Boater Safety Course” and does FREE USCG safety inspections! Another of the many benefits of membership is the availability of renting our clubhouse for your special event, whether it be a wedding, birthday, graduation, or family reunion! The nominal fee will be a great savins over other halls! Check with our House Rental Chairman for dates.  

There Are Various Types of Memberships

• Full Regular Members enjoy winter and summer storage of your vessel as well as water and electricity.
• Watercraft Members can have one of those vessels on premises.
• Daysailers & Kayak Members can have one of those vessels on premises. 
• House Members have the user of house facilities but no boating rights. All members are encouraged to participate in club functions and activities.

How do we keep costs down?

The HPYC is a “hands-on” or “working” club. Members are encouraged to dedicate their time and talents to help upkeep the premises and organizing social events. Twice a year, we have an “all hands” work party and ever member gets several assignments throughout the year such as house, ground cleanup, and covering the bar on a weekend. It is not difficult, and you are part of the social scene!
